The Daily Challenge

How it works

• One sheet a day, the same for everyone, open from midnight to midnight, Paris time.
• The dice are revealed one turn at a time: you only see the next turn's dice after scoring the current one.
• One sheet per player per day. No second chance: that is what keeps the leaderboard fair.

The rules are the classic Yahtzee rules.

The leaderboard and the streak

Your score joins a leaderboard shared by all of the day's players. The top three wear a gold, silver or bronze crown next to their name for the whole following day.

Play several days in a row to grow your streak. One missed day per month is forgiven: a weekend without signal will not cost you weeks of habit.

After the game

The summary analyses your decisions: move by move, it shows what each choice cost you compared with the best possible choice. Enough to see where the game was won or lost.

The next day, yesterday's sheet remains available, with its solution.

Why an account?

A leaderboard needs to know who played: the Daily Challenge therefore requires an account, Google or just an email address, and a nickname chosen before playing. The account also keeps your streak if you change phones.

Every other mode is played without an account: with your circle or against the robot.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone really get the same dice?

Yes: the same sheet, the same dice, in the same order, for every player of the day.

When does the sheet change?

At midnight, Paris time.

Can I replay today's sheet?

No, one sheet per player per day.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a Google account or an email address: the leaderboard needs to know who played.
